From as early as 1888, The Old Choral Hall has been used for teaching as part of the then University College of Auckland (now The University of Auckland). Come along to find out more about the latest re-development, focused on conserving the original charm of this structure.

This visit will include a short presentation from the design and construction team, followed by a tour through the construction site. You'll be able to see the seismic retrofit techniques used first-hand, and the scale of some of the spaces inside of the building, some of which date back to 1872.

Please meet on the grass area by the path passing through the Barracks Wall no later than 3:00pm for the health and safety briefing. PPE is compulsory (hard hat, high vis, safety glasses and steel capped boots).
