Michele Luliano (Maffeis) will present on the temporary works design behind the construction of the roof structure of Te Kaha – One NZ Stadium.
The staged assembly of the under-construction roof for One NZ Stadium in Christchurch is an immensely challenging task. In its final state, the roof will be a self-supporting structure spanning the stands and pitch, however until that point requires significant staging and temporary support to enable the construction to proceed.

Michele will present on the temporary works engineering that is going on behind the scenes to enable this construction sequence, including challenges and solutions to dealing with locked in forces, staged deflections, and the seismic stability of the partially built structure.

Refeshments will be provided courtesy of the event sponsor, Piletech.
