The Templin Scroll is a prestigious academic competition at the University of Canterbury, run by ENSOC since 1945, and supported by Engineering New Zealand, Perpetual Guardian and the Faculty of Engineering. The aim is to encourage engineering students in the art of communicating their work to others, through a written paper and a presentation.
Topics include properties of heat-treated bronze alloys, compost performance in a methane oxidating biofilm, design and operation of a bioaerosol separation unit, whether structural analysis software be trusted, and a barefoot pine seedling lifting mechanism.
Available in-person and online (meeting link will be sent to all who register). Refreshments provided to those in-person.
