Christchurch City Council Park rangers do an amazing job of keeping our wildlife areas thriving but they need our help to keep it all maintained.
Come and join the Canterbury branch as we lend a helping hand for plant maintenance at Victoria Park. We will meet in the car park behind the Victoria Park Visitor Centre, next to Park Ranger HQ with a short walk to the work site.
Shears, hi viz vests and gloves will be supplied. If anyone prefers, they are welcome to bring their own.
Attendees should come prepared for the weather on the day and wear sturdy footwear for hill work. Part of the site is on a slope. If the weather is not good, we will have a back up day. Everyone should have water and we will provide some snacks to keep the engine going! All are welcome to attend, bring your families!
Come join us for a great opportunity to get outdoors and give back to our community.
