As part of the Maintenance Engineering Society of New Zealand’s (MESNZ) objective “To encourage New Zealand students into tertiary education in the field of engineering technology."
What’s on offer?
This year, MESNZ will offer a number of Engineering Scholarships worth up to $2,000.
These scholarships will assist students with further study or training towards an engineering degree, diploma, apprenticeship, or certificate from any level on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.
To recognise the value both technical and professional engineers can bring to the industry MESNZ is proud to offer three specific scholarships:
- School Leavers looking to study/train towards either a Professional or Technical Engineering qualification.
- Those already undertaking a Technical Engineering Qualification.
- Those already undertaking a Professional Engineering Qualification.
Applications are sought from candidates interested in maintenance engineering as a career.
Students with links to MESNZ through work or other avenues are strongly encouraged to apply. The MESNZ engineering scholarships are open to applicants from anywhere in New Zealand.

Selection process
- Applications are to be made to the MESNZ Executive Officer, in electronic format via e-mail: infomesnz@gmail.com
- Short-listed candidates may be required to participate in an online interview.
- The scholarships are awarded by the MESNZ Executive on the recommendation of a Selection Committee.
