The Mechanical Engineering Group (MEG) aims to encourage social and technical liaison between engineers of all levels who have an interest in mechanical technology.
What the group does
They hold informal meetings and site visits most months, have social gatherings and hear from guest speakers. Site visits include factories, workshops, industrial suppliers, and large engineering projects. Talks are of broad interest rather than being highly technical.
MEG has strong links and support with I.Mech.E (The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London).
The Mechanical Engineering Group (MEG) is a technical interest group of Engineering New Zealand.
