As part of our new Membership Pathway, all members must commit to our Code of Ethical Conduct and complete 40 hours of continuing professional development.
You’ll make your first annual commitment this September. We’ll be asking you to confirm that you’ve completed 40 hours of professional development in the past year – and we’ll be asking you to commit to following our Code of Ethical Conduct for the next year. It is this level of commitment that defines you as an engineering professional.
Now’s a good time to start thinking about how much professional development you’ve done – and how much you need to do. Lots of different activities, courses and online learning can count towards your 40 hours. To help you understand what the Code is and why it's important, we've developed an online module that will give you one CPD hour. What are you waiting for?
To take the module log in to your membership area here. You'll find it in "My resources" and it's called Code of Ethical Conduct.
