Several Government consultations are open and Engineering New Zealand is working to make submissions on behalf of the profession.

Submissions close 28 February – submit your feedback direct to MBIE or contact us by 14 February to be part of our submission.

  • Submissions are open on the Resource Management (Consenting and Other System Changes) Amendment Bill. The changes proposed are designed to enable renewable energy and infrastructure delivery, unlock housing development capacity and support primary sector growth. Submissions close 10 February – provide feedback direct to the Select Committee or contact us by 31 January to be part of our submission.

  • The Local Government (Water Services) Bill has been introduced, relating to the new water services delivery system and changes to various related regulatory frameworks.
