Are you a woman taking leadership in earthquake engineering? QuakeCoRE and NZSEE have established a new award to support women taking leadership roles in earthquake engineering.
The QuakeCoRE – NZSEE Women in Earthquake Engineering Award is worth $10,000 and designed to recognise younger academic and professional women’s ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit in earthquake engineering.
It will be awarded to someone developing industry-leading, innovative solutions to problems in earthquake engineering.
Entrants need to have completed their education, be under 35 and actively working in the field of earthquake engineering (as researchers or practitioners).
Applications close on Friday 15 March, with the award presented at the PCEE conference in April 2019.
