You can now access everything you might need to get registered or reassessed as a Chartered Professional Engineer in one convenient place – a dedicated Registration Authority website, registrationauthority.org.nz
You can also find a registered engineer with ease on a brand new register.
“Making the CPEng system more accessible, efficient and transparent through the new website and register is a significant improvement for the CPEng system,” said Chief Executive Dr Richard Templer.
The new register has the engineer’s practice field, email address and location, meaning anyone can find the right registered engineer for their needs.
Registered engineers will also find it easier to connect with others in their practice field.
Other recent developments to the Chartered Professional Engineers system include a more efficient application and assessment process, resources for assessors and applicants, reduced processing times for assessments and reassessments, and an improved complaints system.
“A new website and register underscores our commitment to continually evolving the CPEng system to better serve engineers and regulators while upholding public safety,” Templer said.
