Are you passionate about your future in Engineering and looking for an opportunity to volunteer? Join us as an Engineering New Zealand Student Ambassador and represent the future of engineering in Aotearoa! Applications are now open, closing Monday 11 September.
Every year, we work with our Student Ambassadors all over Aotearoa to plan events, be present in the community, and support students on their path to emerging engineering professional. And it’s that time of year where we’re looking for dedicated students to take on our Student Ambassador roles.
As a Student Ambassador you will; gain leadership experience, create strong industry connections, have a unique selling point for employers, and represent the student voice.
In this role you will:
- brainstorm and assist with student events
- promote Engineering New Zealand and encourage students to attend our events
- communicate important issues and concerns among students
- provide feedback to us on ways to improve students' experience.
We’re looking for Ambassadors at each of the 17 tertiary institutes across New Zealand.
If you’ll be studying engineering in 2024 and are an Engineering New Zealand Student Member you’re eligible to apply! And did we mention our Student Membership is free?
What you need to apply:
- an up to date CV
- your student member number
- a short paragraph detailing why you want to be an ambassador, what you plan to bring to the role, and one thing you hope to achieve as an ambassador.
