Our mentoring programme connects experienced engineers with Emerging Professional Members that are in the early stages of their career. Mentoring is a proven way of developing personal and professional capabilities to meet your goals.

Our mentors are professionals from a wide range of disciplines who are willing to share their advice, experiences and career journey to enable our new engineers to progress their careers.

Our formal programme runs from April to December. You'll need to commit some initial time to read through this guide, complete a module on ways to create a great mentoring partnership , and prepare for your first meeting. You'll then meet for around an hour every 6 weeks.
